Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalm 84:10

WHAT IS A DOORKEEPER?
A doorkeeper is a person on duty at the entrance to a building. When you enter into a place you may not be familiar with, it’s comforting to have someone at the door welcoming you in, encouraging your steps, and helping you feel at home.
In establishments welcoming first time visitors - a restaurant, theatre, or church - the first impression made by the keeper of the door determines whether the guest feels wanted and at home, or foreign and displaced.
In a time of worship, the Worship Leader also serves as a doorkeeper, propping open the door to a heavenly encounter, helping family members and guests alike, feel at home in the Presence of God.
Our mission is based on Psalm 84. With our strength coming from the Lord (vs 5) we recognize that when we come together, some of us have walked through the Valley of Weeping (vs 6), and are longing for a place of refreshing springs.
We desire to dig deep wells of worship that serve as refreshing waters for weary travelers, and prop open the doors of Heaven to allow the grace and glory to overflow, to provide joy and strength for the journey (vs 12).
We have served in full time church and worship ministry in local churches across MD, PA, VA, and OH for 25 years. Through those years, we were able to serve our local congregations in many roles.
12 years ago, our ministry began to expand across the East Coast as we begin to coach and consult with other ministry leaders to assist in reaching new levels. Nearly two years ago, God gave us the opportunity to fulfill a dream He placed on our hearts years ago and pursue serving others through Worship, Consulting, and Community Building full time.
Our areas of expertise are in Worship and First Impressions. We want to help you ensure that the people who enter your “house” to worship feel wanted from the time they step through your doors - and throughout the worship service. Belonging is everything.
When we open doors and tear down walls, we allow the Presence of God to do His full work and lives are changed.
Hope is evident. Healing is here. Partner with us to see how we can help you open the door a little wider so someone can find their way home.
